Short Performances by Bend’s Theatrical Companies Will Welcome Guests to Shakespeare in the Park

Bend – July 26, 2011 – In addition to the professional production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream August 26th and 27th, the Drake Park main stage will host short local performances from Cat Call Productions, Cascades Theatrical Company, and 2nd St. Theater. Local performances will begin half an hour before each performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, helping welcome the audience for an evening of Shakespeare.

Clinton Clark, and Brian Johnson.

The Taming of the Shrew (ActII, Scene 1)
Actors: Lilli Ann Linford-Foreman and Andrew Hickman

In addition to the local performances, workshops on Vocal Production, Understanding Shakespeare and Shakespeare Performance will be held throughout the weekend of August 25th in affiliation with Shakespeare in the Park.
